150,000 people die every 24 hours – most without the Savior. Those at The Way of the Master are deeply concerned that so few Christians reach out to the lost. Statistics show that this is as low as 5%. One of the reasons for this is that many don’t feel equipped. As a ministry, their sole purpose is to inspire and equip Christians – to teach them how to share the gospel simply, effectively, biblically . . . the way Jesus did. “The Way of the Master” is non-denominational. They believe and preach that the Bible is the Word of God, and that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, crucified for the sin of the world, and that He rose again on the third day. They believe and teach that salvation is by grace, through faith, and not of works.
“The Way of the Master” television programs are scheduled to air via satellite to over 100 nations every week. This is a new look at reality TV. Each program is 30 minutes of Ray and Kirk teaching Christians how to share their faith effectively and inoffensively. Learn how to speak with your unsaved family and friends, and then see Kirk and Ray go onto the streets and demonstrate how to do it. This is real life witnessing in action. Watch as Kirk and Ray share the gospel with teenagers, intellectuals, atheists, Moslems, Jews, Cults, backsliders, and the self righteous. They follow Jesus’ example by going to the highways and byways, malls and movie theaters, college campuses and local coffee houses, answering the 100 most common questions and objections of the Christian faith. Kirk and Ray will talk about difficult questions, difficult situations, and put powerful tools in the Christian’s hand that will replace his/her fears with courage.
Kirk and Ray teach from unique witnessing locations, talk about principles that will both excite and equip the viewer to seek and save the lost, as well as deepen their own gratitude for the Cross.
Learn how to approach strangers – without offense and yet with great effectiveness. How to answer difficult questions. How to prove God’s existence. Learn how to do what Jesus did and circumnavigate the intellect (the area of argument) and speak to the sinner’s conscience. How to get tracts into the hands of the lost without looking like a fanatic.
Ray Comfort is the best-selling author of more than 60 books. He is also the co-host of an award-winning television program (with actor Kirk Cameron) which is seen in 70 countries. He has spoken on the subject of atheism at Yale and other prestigious universities, debated on ABC’s Nightline, written, God Doesn’t Believe in Atheists, The Atheist Test (booklet – over one million copies sold), You can Lead an Atheist to Evidence But You can’t Make Him Think, and, Evolution: A Fair Tale For Grownups (Bridge Logos). He was a platform speaker for American Atheists, Inc., at their 2001 National Convention. Ray and his wife Sue live in Southern California.
Kirk Cameron is best known as the lovable teen heartthrob Mike Seaver, of the award winning series Growing Pains. He entertained audiences worldwide as the charming troublemaker. He is also known to many Christians as “Buck Williams” from the Left Behind films — based on the NY Times runaway best selling novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins.
But much more noteworthy than his acting career was his conversion to Christianity. Kirk was not raised in a church-going home and describes himself as a devout atheist from a very young age. By the age of 14 he was so convinced there was no God that he laughed at those who thought there was. But that all changed one afternoon as he sat in his sports car pondering the first Gospel message he had ever heard. To hear Kirk’s testimony in his own words click HERE.
Kirk continues to be actively involved in quality family entertainment and travels throughout the country, making the most of every opportunity to further the Gospel. He speaks in schools, churches and at community events. He is also a producer and host of The Way of the Master television series and radio program..
Kirk and his wife Chelsea have six children and live in southern California.
